The country receiving the President-elect:

Agrarian Information Network

The Agrarian Information Network (RIA) is a group of radio journalists specialized in agrarian and rural issues in the interior of the country. It is an effort of communication and decentralized exchange of information that the Peruvian Center for Social Studies has promoted since 1994.

The RIA is made up of more than 30 radio stations, NGOs with radio production centers, and empirical journalists or professionals who conduct radio programs, which are joined by the objective of betting on radio as the most appropriate means of communication to put in agenda the rural development of the country.

Weekly, the journalists specialized in rural subjects exchange the informative dispatches or correspondent offices that they prepare from the districts or provinces in which they are located. The radio product included in this journalistic work is the "Tierra Fecunda Weekly Special" radio program produced by the Communications area of CEPES, which is then forwarded to the Agrarian Information Network (RIA).

Annually, the specialized correspondents also participate in a Workshop Meeting that serves to exchange the experiences of each of the members of the RIA, as well as to train them in new radio techniques and to collectively build an agenda of journalistic issues that makes visible the main problems of the rural and agrarian sector of the country.
